Yoylecake is a type of cake that originated from the webseries Battle For Dream Island. It is a cake that contains Yoyleberries, a fictional berry that will turn the consumer to metal. Of course, as the yoyleberry is a fictious berry, we must substitute. The OSC on the side of recreating fictional things have determined blueberries are a decent substitute due to its purple color and relatively sweet taste that would taste good in a cake.
This is an adapted version of a pre-existing recipe, as I've said. I do not know the source of the recipe as I've just recieved a non-descriptive copy of it in class. This does use scale measurements, so please use a scale.
First off, set your oven to 350 degrees with Low fan if possible.
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the mix, salt, flour, and sugar.
Step 2: Once you have this mixture, add everything else. Mix this for 2 minutes on medium speed. If you are adding food coloring, make sure to put it in.
Step 3; Put 60 ounces each in 10" cake pans. If there's too little for a full 60 ounces, provided it's not too bad you can likely just put the rest in a pan. Too Bad is 40 ounces and under.
Step 4: Once the oven is preheated and your mixture mixed, put as many of the pans as your oven allows in and heat until it passes the toothpick test. The toothpick test is done by sticking a toothpick in the cake when checking, and if the toothpick comes out clean, the cake is done.
Step 5: Decorate the cake by layering two cakes on top of one another, putting the frosting in the colors you want. (For show accuracy the original has a purple bottom layer and green top layer separated by a yellow border which also appears on the bottom and top edges as well, dolloped with orange frosting.) After decorating you are free to enjoy your yoylecake.
